The energy transition is driving significant changes in existing hydrocarbon facilities, from reducing their carbon footprint to full-scale repurposing. Additionally, substantial advancements are being made in delivering low-carbon energy and ensuring energy security through hydrogen, ammonia, battery technologies, and carbon capture and storage (CCS). This Technical Meeting will explore the emerging fire and explosion engineering challenges associated with these transformations.

This will be a 2-day event held in London, UK. Day 1 of the event (Tuesday 13th May) will start at 9.15am with registration, and an evening drinks reception will be held after the last presentation from 17.15 onwards. Day 2 (Wednesday 14th May) will start at 9.00am and will close before 16.00 to allow all delegates to travel in the evening.
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR SPEAKERS:
We are currently developing the programme for this event, so please do not hesitate to contact us at fabig@steel-sci.com if you would like to give a technical presentation. In particular, we are looking for presentations covering recent projects / studies / research covering topics relevant to the management of hazards from hydrogen, ammonia, batteries and CCS.
