INTERNATIONAL PROCESS SAFETY DAY (IPSD) 2026

We are pleased to advise that registration for the International Process Safety Day (IPSD) 2026 is now open.

FABIG is collaborating once again with CCPS (Center for Chemical Process Safety), EPSC (European Process Safety Centre), ISC (IChemE Safety Centre) and MKOPSC (Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center) to organise the International Process Safety Day (IPSD) 2026, which will be held on Wednesday 2 December 2026, the anniversary of the Bhopal disaster.

The objective of the IPSD is to raise awareness worldwide of the importance of process safety for the prevention of industrial accidents. This will be a free, full-day virtual event open to all, providing delegates with approximately eight hours of technical content. The full programme will be replayed over a 24-hour period to cover all time zones. Compared with previous years, this year’s programme comprises more panel discussions featuring industry experts and covering a wide range of process safety topics, as well as technical presentations.

The IPSD 2026 will cover the following process safety topics:

  • Accidents;
  • Artificial intelligence;
  • Asset integrity;
  • Energy and critical minerals;
  • Energy transition hazards (including hydrogen, CO2, batteries);
  • Human and organisational factors;
  • Nuclear safety.

Registration for the IPSD 2026 is completely free-of-charge and is now OPEN. Please visit the conference platform at ipsd26.vfairs.com for registration or to obtain additional information.

Please circulate information on the IPSD 2026 to all your contacts!

We hope that you enjoy the IPSD 2026.

Take care,
